From a DJ to a choir master; Mutahi Kagwe in memes

Ever since the first Coronavirus case was recorded in the country, Kenya’s health cabinet secretary, Mutahi Kagwe has become a popular and familiar face among Kenyans. The former member of parliament has been on our screens and radio sets almost everyday updating the nation on the current situation surrounding the deadly virus. However, while Kenyans pay attention to the updates, most of them remain alert for the pictures shared from the press conferences. Why? You may ask but while ladies have been thirsting on the seasoned politician, their male counterparts have been seeing him as a meme that keeps on meme-ing. Kenyans have been using Kagwe’s photos and coming up with creative memes, one of the popular ones being the photos of him from Wednesday’s briefing.
