Kenya’s housing crisis is getting worse due to low investment, especially among the low-income earners. Habitat for Humanity says the situation is compounded by the growing rural-urban migration where close to 50 percent of Kenyans live in urban areas. Habitat says it will partner with the private and public sectors to help in the construction of affordable houses especially targeting vulnerable groups.
