A community-based organization has partnered with international development and human rights organizations to promote menstrual health hygiene in Western Kenya. Boxgirls Kenya and American Jewish World Service has set up Menstrual Health Booths in Kakamega county through the Uzuri project to help girls access sanitary towels at a cheaper price.
